Kent Grand Prix races including the Kent Road Race Championships. Races held over various distances from 5-mile upto Marathon.

Last season was very promising for Invicta East Kent AC, we finished 3rd overall in the teams championship and had a number of age group victories. I hope we can build on this in 2009 and go for the outright championship, if achieved this would be a great achievement for the club and show that our road running section is back in business and healthy once again!

The races are open to both senior and vet athletes both male and female and age group championships take place. In some of the shorter races (5-mile and 10k) our junior athletes can sometimes take part (over 16s) please check entry forms to confirm this!

I will try and place online links to entries on as many of the races as I can. I would be very keen to attempt to encourage our female section of the club to compete in more of these races over the coming season, and work at keeping our current senior men intrest going.
