South of England Masters Cross Country Champs

It was a beautiful spring day at Ruislip on Saturday at the SEAA Masters Cross Country Championships.
Race day started with the over 50's and 60+ men with John Wilkins finishing 4th (55-59's) in 38.28, Tony Culshaw 6th (55-59's) in 39.31.
In the 65's age group Mike Conway (pictured here at the Canterbury 10) won the silver medal in 42.30, Eddie Broad 25th in 53.26.

The ladies race was next with Sharon Hawkins 8th (40-44's)in 24.10, Vicky Talbot Rosner 10th(45-49's) in 26.28, Janice Moorekite 15th (44-49's) in 27.02, Fayne Brenner 25th (45-49's) 29.08, Liz Batty 5th (50-54's) 27.46, Pam Clayton 18th 50-54's) 33.05 and Ruth Kay (55-59's) 35.35.

The ladies 45's team won bronze with Vicky Talbot-Rosner, Janice Moorekite and Liz Batty.

Special congratulations to Liz who is back after a long time off with a severe foot injury, good to see you back Liz!
