English National Championships

• the Club pays for the entry fee of 1st claim IEK members - names are normally submitted by Team Managers for those who confirm the intention to compete
• The deadline for club entries is 21 December to either Mark Wilkins (Seniors) or Sue Rogers (u-20 and younger)
• After that date, entry can be done online by this link National XC Online Entry Form but keep details to claim refund from IEK
• the journey from IEK track is 4 hours according to AA Route Planner
• the Club wil contribute toward overnight accommodation in order for our athletes to get to the start line fresh and raring to go : the total contribution per competing IEK member is a £30 allowance, ie. £15 for travel, and another £15 if you stay over on the Friday
• Although the AGM decided it preferrable to book a club bus and also rooms for competing club athletes to share, it has been found this is too complex for one person to organise
  
• Competing athletes are therefore advised to travel independently...to book and pay for their own room, and, to apply for the allowance after completing the race
