Open Meetings

Who may take part?

Open meetings means "open to all-comers"  regardless of standard or experience 

• You don't have to belong to a club
  

• You have to be at least 7 on the day 

just turn up, choose an event, pay the entry fee.

Entry fees?

• Non members £3.
  

• IEK members £2.

Number of events? 

One fee for as many as you like.

Registration?

Register in the clubhouse 30 mins before each of your chosen event(s).

Level of competition?

• Participants are grouped by self-declared ability regardless of age or gender.
  

• All events are properly measured, judged and timed.

• Prompt publication of results.

All open events start at 6.15pm and finish by 8pm.

Internal IEK Club Championhips?

Some events double as internal IEK Club Championship.

Special requests are considered for particular grouping of competitors.

Age groups

• These weekday Opens are organised under UKA Rules ie. the youngest age group is under-11 who must be at least 7 on the day

• For insurance purposes, under-11s must be at least 7 on the day

• Under 11s may not compete with over-11s in any event
