Kieran Reilly    -  into top 15 UK u-20 rankings 2011

Luke Dawson   -  up to 31st in UK u-17 rankings 2011

Blustery conditions in the British Milers' Club Classic at Mitlon Keynes didn't hamper two promising talents emerging from IEK's junior ranks from showing their marked improvement from last season.

Luke goes 3rd All-time IEK

In taking silver at the Kent Championships in mid-May Luke Dawson (u17) achieved every schoolboy dream of beating 2minutes for 800m - a week later in the BMC Classic at Milton Keynes, Luke nibbled 3 tenths of a second off that pb and his 1:59.08 puts him 3rd in the club's All-time ranking, ahead of Abbie Hayward's best

and it ranks him31st in the country for the 2011season.

KIeran goes 2nd All-time IEK

In a mixed age group race Kieran Reilly (u20) was part of a breakaway group of 3 who made light of the windy conditions and in comning 2nd to one of the country's best u-17 athletes from St Albans, Kieran beat Tom Purnell of Stroud AC .

Kieran's 3:54.83 puts him 15th u-20 in the country this season and 2nd on IEK's ALL-time list, just 6 seconds adrift of James Webster who set IEK's u-20 best of 3:48.6 in 1982
