Seven IEK Ladies are 3rd team at Woking

Senior Lady and IEK newcomer Hannah Biddis (formerly Blackheath Bromley) made in instant impact in her first outing in red with fine races as our A string 100, 200 and 400, High jump and also 400m hurdles

Hannah was 2nd 3rd and 4th in 100, 400 and 200 clocking times which put her 2nd in this year's overall female IEK rankings for both 100 and 400metres.

In between her 3 sprints + relays, Hannah also cleared

1.25m in High Jump, then was 4th in 400m hurdles, the first IEK female to tackle "long hurdles" in several seasons

Hannah's B string team mate in all three sprints was Bev Newing (u-20) who came 2nd + 3rd at 100 + 200 then won the 400m in 71.2 ahead of a Senior Lady rival from the host club before clearing 4.12m for 4th in Long jump and doing 4x400 relays

Sharon Hawkins and Vicky Talbot Rosner doubled up at 800m, 1500m and 3,000m - Sharon was 5th, 5th and 4th in the A string with Vicky 3rd, 2nd and 2nd in the B string.and they are pictured (below) rounding off a busy afternoon in the 4 x 400 relay under the watchful eye of our own Track Judge, Gilien Davison

Charlotte Burnett was 'A' String in three throws, doubling up with Lea Burnett (her mum) in Hammer and Javelin (where both were 5th) then with Sue Rogers in Discus, where both were 6th

Inseparable friends, Sue Rogers and Lea Burnett then gained valuable points when doubling in the shot where they were 7th and 6th respectively
