Annabel, Holly & Amber each set personal best performances

Annabel Knight, Amber de Moubray & Holly Fielder all took part in their first ever Pentathlon.when they contested the Kent u-13 Championships in Tonbridge.

Despite injury which sidelined her for several weeks, Annabel Knight finished 12th with 1139 points, including her best time for 70m hurdles

Amber De Moubray did 4 pbs (70mH 13.95secs - shot 7.36m - high jump 1.21m - 800m 2:51.18) with her last event (800m) 10 secs faster than Ashford's early competition leader who dropped to 5th while Amber finished 4th overall

Still only 1st year in this 2-year age band, Holly Fielder posted 2 pbs (70mH in 14.16 secs and high jump 1.27m) and was 5th before the final event, the 800m in which she ran 2mins 43.75secs (531 pts) to take her from 5th to 2nd place overall.


All 3 girls now go on to compete in the Kent U13 Individual Championships on 17/18 September at Bexley
