Tim Kerr completes 3rd marathon in 23 days!

On the 7th May, after only two weeks of rest, Tim Kerr set off on his 3rd marathon in 23 days. This being the Northern Irish leg of his international marathon tour. The weather in Belfast for the 2918 entrants for most of the 26.2 mile course was cold, grey, wet and windy, with additional driving rain for the two miles alongside the Irish Sea.  However, spurred on by the 10,000 accompanying relay runners, the hardy spectators, and the promise of a post race massage, Tim completed the challenge in 3 hours 55 minutes finishing in 1,150th place overall, and 47th out of 116 in his category.  It is rumoured that Tim had the biggest smile ever when he calculated that his average time for the 3 marathons was 3 hours and 59 minutes.
