Victoria Park Road Relay

Invicta East Kent AC dominate season's last Road Relay

Tuesday 21st July 2015

Just over 200 runners took part in the last of the five road relays, as is custom the final relay was held at Victoria Park in Canterbury.

Male and Female teams of 4 and 3 from local running clubs again battled it out to determine which teams would go on to be crowned the seasons winners. Regardless of age or gender all teams start at the same time with the 1st runner handing over to their team mate when they completed their 2.5 mile leg.

Invicta East Kent AC fielded its biggest team for this competition that we have seen in several seasons with 30 runners, entering junior, male & female relays.

When I said we dominated, well that is an understatement.
