1st Claim membershipNormal membership if you belong to only one club
It means we're your main club and you wear our colours for ALL championships + League Teams
---------------------------------------- Specific matters relating to 1st Claim IEK |
2nd Claim membershipThis applies only if you belong to two clubs - you have to declare one of the two as the main club
You join us in this category as a convenience because your main club is either far away or doesn't do events you're interested in and we're your secondary club
You can't compete for us in championships, so we're not responsible for your England Athletics Competitor Licence.
In ALL championships you wear the colours of your main (1st Claim) club
You may compete in our League Teams, but only if your main club doesn't also compete there ---------------------------------------- Specific matters relating to 2nd Claim IEK |
Student membershipThis category is not under UKA rules
it's an internal IEK concession for university students
Whether you're away at University, or are a visiting student at a Canterbury University or Academy, a "one-off" payment of £50 each year means you may train for that year at any official IEK club training session, free each time you show your IEK student membership card. This membership runs September to September .
If you want us to be your main club, complete 1st Claim form which requires the EACL annual fee (currently £5) to be added to the annual student fee ---------------------------------------- * if you apply as IEK 2nd Claim, complete the 2nd Claim form and pay EACL to your main club |
