Six IEK over-35s make it a Good Friday

Three IEK Vet-60 Men were 1st, 11th and 27th in their age category


Trevor Edgley, 50th overall, was 1st vet-60 across the line in 67mins 13 secs

11th vet-60 was Martyn Rouse, 203rd overall, in 79mins 35secs with his good mate Dave Moorekite 27th vet-60 making it in 90mins 34 secs

Meanwhile, fresh from his exploits in the London Marathon, Tim Kerr was 27th vet-50 in a brisk 75min 16secs with the younger man, Michael Gallyer Barnett was81st vet-40 when finishing 293rd on the day in exactly 86 minutes.

Our lone Female racer Janice Moorekite was 330th in 89mins 09 secs to make her 11th vet-45 lady

Overall race winner was Andy Rayner (Blackheath Bromley') clocking 53 mins 50secs


First Female, 12th in the overall race was vet-35 Maria Heslop (Paddock Wood) clocking just under 61minutes with the first Senior Female from Coventry Godiva clocking 62mins 41 secs
