Kent XC League - 2009

Senior teams both 4th - Jason, Emily & Bobby individual winners

Both Senior teams were a creditable 4th in the opening XC fixture at Capstone Park, Gillingham - 9 Men were lead home by Damien Vadgama (11th) and our 6 Women by Sharon Hawkins, 6th.
Senior run of the day - James Cotton (23rd male) and Claire Brown, 19th female.
Jason Prickett (1st) lead a powerful u-20 Men's team to victory - u-17 Kieran Reilly (6) and u-15 Jake Rogers (5) both led their teams to 4th.
Rachel Seaman (3) and Alex Clay (4) were our lone u-20 + u-15 runners respectively, while Emily Hosker Thornhill was a focused winner to lead our u-17s to 3rd.
Although we had no u-13 boys, our u-13 Red Sparrows laid down a marker with an emphatic team win with all 5 in the first dozen, lead by Bobby Clay's storming win.
Junior male run of the day, u-15 Adam Mckenna (37th in 1st ever race) and female, Amy Old (11) whose only other XC race (ever) was Detling...10 months ago
