Two team golds and a team bronze in Vet County XC Champs - Senior women take team silver in the Kent Clubman event

IEK turned in some good results across all age groups at this year's Kent Clubmans and Vets championships. In the Mens V50 catagory, Andy Girling ran a strong race to finish 3rd overall, next Invicta man home John Wilkins (6th) continues to improve after his long injury layoff. With three to score, IEK were 2nd overall in this age group when Nick Braun came home 13th. The Mens V60 team came out on top, led by Trevor Edgley who won the individual race with Michael Conway 4th, closely followed by Eddie Broad in 5th and this age group is currently our strongest age group team among our senior and vet athletes. In the Women's races, our V45s scooped the team prize with Vicky Talbot-Rosner 2nd, Susan Cooper 5th and Fayne Brenner 13th. Our Senior Men struggled with injuries and illness on the day - no men's team was fielded in the Clubman's event, although our women more than made up by finishing 2nd overall clubman team. Caroline Smith was an impressive 4th and Sarah Bonnage 6th while Vicky Talbot-Rosner completed a very busy day by being our third scorer in 7th place.
