Kent Sportshall - Folkestone  -  Sunday 13 November 2011

u-11 team are 3rd in Ball-Push... 4th in Vetical Jump.... 19th overall among 30 teams

   Six under-13 IEK - 2 boys + 4 girls

      Kieran Hawkins 1st u-15 Boy - Rhiannon Wallwork 1st u-15 Girl

This is the first Indoor Sportshall Competition of the winter - older athletes (u-13 to u-17) do 5 events

  • Standing Long Jump
  • Standing Vertical Jump
  • Speed Bounce
  • Shot Put
  • a 4-lap run

Two u-13 Boys Oliver Lyons and Sam Dawson-Dale were 8th & 10th among 15 competitors

4 IEK girls were among 23 u-13 Girls - Sahana Roots (7th) led the way, Naomi Hawkins (13) Tilly Donnellon (17) and Kayla Truelock was 20th

Among u-15 Boys Kieran Hawkins was the leading performer - Rhiannon Wallwork was 1st among 8 u-15 Girls, with Pippi Randall 6th  

Rhiannon posted the best performance in 3 of the 5 events - 60cm for SVJ - 241cm for SLJ and 52.9secs for the 4-lap run

The under-11s were 19 th team overall - youingsters choose from a range of 7 events

  • Standing Vertical Jump........... IEK team 4th

  • Ball Push................................... IEK team 3rd

  • a 2-lap hurdles race
