Youth Endurance Research Survey: England Athletics

Adolescent endurance runners needed for research survey!

This project is being conducted by the Children’s Health and Exercise Research Centre (CHERC), University of Exeter, in collaboration with England Athletics. It is aimed at gaining an improved insight into the training practices of adolescent endurance runners (11-15 years old).

A news article for this research can be found via the following link: http://www.englandathletics.org/england-athletics-news/help-us-better-understand-the-training-practices-of-adolescent-endurance-runners. Additionally, Athletics Weekly have featured the research, with a ‘special report’ hopefully being in the August 4th copy of the magazine.

The survey should only take a maximum of 20mins to complete. It is also simple to follow, with clear instructions throughout. It is important that the survey is completed by the athlete and not the parent or coach.
