... Men win Team Race by almost 2 mins - Luke Dawson (u17) posts fastest lap

   ... Vet-45 Women win race and lead the Series

Vicky Talbot Rosner (7th fastest Female with 15.12 on Leg 1) Sally Mullervy (18.38 on Leg 2) and Sharon Hawkins (4th fastest Female with 14.35 on Leg 3) dominated the vet-45 race by almost 5minutes to stay top of the Series after 4 races, with the July race at Canterbury still to come.

Beth Burnett (u-20) was our 4th female on the day, and ran in a mixed team, clocking 16.54 for 23rd fastest female on the day

Our Men's "A" team was 1st by almost 2 minutes, our "B" team was 3rd to Ashford AC by just 2 seconds, our Vet-40 team was 2nd in their category and our males piled no fewer than 9 in the top 30 among 110 runners

Our A team comprised two u-20s, Kieran Reilly (12.13) and Alex Newson (13.05) and two Seniors Mark Wilkins (12.35) and Chris Holmes (12.13) who were all eclipsed by the storming run of Luke Dawson (u-17) whose Leg 2 run of 12.02 for the "B" team was 11 seconds faster than the joint 2nd fastest on the day, our own Kieran Reilly and Chris Holmes.

Sam Hudson (u-20) got things going in the "B" team with 14.05 - Luke Dawson handed over to Andy Cope whose 13.02 was the 12 fastest on the day and, in a fine last leg race to the line with Ashford's Matt Hogben, Tom Purnell (12.49) posted the 9th fastest individual time, very close to "A" team regular, Mark Wilkins.

vet-50 stalwart Richard Hudson anchored our Senior "C" team to 11th of 14 teams on the day with Chris Harvey, Michael Gallyer Barnett and Barry Hopkins all running under 16 minutes.

Our vet-40 Men's team was 2nd on the day and stay 2nd overall to Ashford District RRC who also won the race - Rob Whittaker (13.26) Tim Sutton (14.15) and Adrian Dawson (14.20) kept us in contention with Canterbury Harriers then anchor man Steve Burt (13.44) converted a 45-second defecit into a 12 second advantage over our blue-vested local rivals.

Peter Bowell (vet-40) ran injury free in a mixed team posting 14.29
