Fresh from their 10th & 25th places in the Senior Men's Kent Cross-country League a week earlier, two of our leading u-20s, Kieran Reilly & Alex Newson were 2nd and 6th In a field of 374 finishers.

Finishing a strong 2nd in 27mins 14secs, Kieran's time

was 46 seconds adrift of race winner Dan Bradley, from Tonbridge AC, nonetheless in the same class as the winning time of 27:03 posted by last year's winner, our own Chris Holmes.   

Alex Newson (one of only 22 runners to break 30mins) was 6th in 28:16 - Martin Kelk (5th vet-40) was 30th overall in 30mins 18 secs

Improving his 2010 race time by 37 seconds was Steve Burt, 10th vet-40 in 30:57 - Gavin Knight (35:20) and Richard Hudson (42:24) were 13th & 31st of 39 vet-50s to complete the out-and-back seafront dash round a cone at each end
