Senior Men drop to 3rd - Ellie Hume wins - Bobby Clay still undefeated in Kent

Jason Prickett (u20) and Tom Corbett (13th and 16th) led our Seniors to 3rd at Somerhill, Ben Egan (55) and Tim Corby (56) completing the Senior Men's line-up.

 

Jamie Bailey was 3rd u20 and our lone u13 boy Nathan McNally was 6th in his first outing in red, making a strong case for selection to Kent's team of 8

 

u15 winner Bobby Clay remains undefeated in Kent for almost 2 seasons, Amy Old was a deserving 14th, Lilly Coward held on for 18th despite going over an ankle and Becca Wickington (22) made a fine debut in red.

 

Our Senior women are still 2nd in the league despite being 3rd on the day when Liz Weeks and Sharon Hawkins both finished in the top 10, Janice Moorekite 56th

 

Our u-13 Red Sparrows, 2nd on the day are 2nd overall - Ellen Whitehead maintained her individual 3rd from the first fixture to lead the Red Sparrows quartet including Anna Weston (8) Kelsey Fuss (10) and the ever-improving Olivia Tomlin moving up to 25th.

 

No fewer than nine (9) u17 Men donned the red vest with David Waltho (32nd) making his debut - Kieran Reilly (6) and Jake Rogers (10) led the team to 2nd with Luke Dawson (12) and Chris Thomas (13) completing the scoring.

Sam Hudson (20) Ben Burton (23) Jacob Burton (25) and Ali Noel (29) completing this impressive seam of talent.

 

In her first race of the season, Enya Lonergan (13th in u17) caught the eye with her welcome return to racing.  Ellie Hume had run 2nd to Bexley's Beth Armstrong at Sparrows Den : this time Ellie cruised to a majestic win, not only 30secs ahead of the 1st of 6 Tonbridge girls, but also, almost 1 minute ahead of Armstrong.
