Barney Howard (in the green of Canterbury District Schools) stole the show when he improved from 25th last year to 5th this year in the Junior Boys at Swanley - James Pitcher was 14th.

Performances of the day came from 2 Junior Girls - Amy Old improved to 5th from 15th last year and Rosie Maguire (73rd) who completed her first ever cross-country run at this level.

There's no stopping Bobby Clay's winning streak, majestically winning the Junior Girls after her 4th place at Wilmington a year ago. Anna Weston took bronze in her first year as a Junior.

The talking point of the day was the presence of no fewer than five (5) Red Sparrows in the top 10 - the 6th Red Sparrow was Olivia Tomlin (31) in her first race after a 3 month absence wirh an elbow broken doing indoor sports at school.

Luke Dawson (Thanet Schools) improved to 3rd from last year's 16th in Inter Boys and booked a firm place in the Kent Schools team to contest English Schools in March.

Luke led home 4 other IEK boys - 3 for Canterbury Schools Eddie Burton (18) Adam McKenna (36) Nolan Stuart (48) with Jack Smith (38) representing Dover & Sandwich Schools

Kieran Reilly was 4th Senior Boy after his 7th a year ago as an Inter while Poppy Lewis Webster (9th) was our best finisher in the Senior Girls in her first ever Kent Schools.
