IEK young athletes bag 2 National gold medals and 1 silver

In the first event at the Birmingahm Indoor Arena, the Kent Obstacle relay team, including Poppy Collins got the day off to a good start by winning the Gold
Poppy later finished 8th at speedbounce with 80 bounces
Rhiannon Wallwork collected 2 individual medals - first, she won the Silver medal for Standing Triple Jump, her 7.17m only 1cm short of gold
After easily winning her heat of the 4 lap race in 49.40s, Rhiannon went on to win the final in 48.40s and is pictured (RIGHT) in the black of Kent Indoors with her National Gold & Silver medals
Kent Team Captain Lydia Gallyer-Barnett did Standing long jump and the 4 lap race, before joining clubmate Rhiannon Wallwork to take 5th in the 2-man parlauf relay over 8 laps
