Do you have the skills to be the clubs next Treasurer?

The next AGM is soon approaching and we have a vacancy for the management committee role of club treasurer. This voluntary position is for a two year commitment and is your opportunity to make a difference to your club.

Full support will be provided from the Management Committee to enable you to feel comfortable with this varied role.

IEKAC – Treasurer – Job Description

Weekly review of bank accounts via on-line banking. Manage banking and payments. Write up cashbook records.

Produce yearly accounts for presentation to Management Committee for use at AGM.

Set future year budgets with full input from Management Committee.

File legal documents with Charity Commission.

Attend Management Committee meetings. (Approx 10 a year). Have an input (with full voting rights) into the governance of the Club across a range of issues.

Arrange for independent examination and formalise financial statements via external supplier.

Usually takes between 4 – 5 hours a week with a concentration of time required at the year end to produce the Accounts for presentation to the Management Committee and IEK trustees.

Open to fully paid first claim members.
