**East Kent Road Relays 2026 – Series Finale!**

What a fantastic way to finish the 2026 East Kent Road Relays series! Last night's final race in Canterbury was a brilliant event to host on our home ground, with one of the biggest turnouts of the entire series.
 
The course offered a great mix of fields, paths and riverside tracks, making for an enjoyable and challenging evening of racing.
 
The event was **jointly hosted by Invicta East Kent Athletics Club and Canterbury Harriers**, and we'd like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who helped make the evening such a success. A special mention goes to the fantastic team of marshals, whose encouragement and support around the entire course was greatly appreciated by all the runners.
 
Thank you also to our Race Director MGB for the pre-race briefing and to Glenn for keeping the relay changeover running smoothly throughout the evening.
 
A special shout-out goes to our team captain, Kenny, for the huge amount of work that goes into organising all of our relay teams, along with everyone who helped behind the scenes. Your efforts are greatly appreciated and helped make another successful evening for Invicta.
 
After the racing, it was lovely to see all the clubs come together to celebrate the end of another great relay series with a buffet and refreshments. A big thank you to Hayley for organising Invicta's fantastic spread—it was the perfect way to round off the evening!

  **V40 Men's A Team** – 2nd Overall
