London Marathon 2026

Sunday 26th April 2026 brought the return of the TCS London Marathon and Invicta were lucky enough to have 5 amazing runners taking part and representing the club.

It was a warm day but the streets were lined with people and the atmosphere was electric so with true determination and spirit these incredible individuals pushed through to complete the famous 26.2 mile course. 

With several PB's and personal achievements they should all be very proud of themselves.

Sean Barwick - 2:39:32 (PB)

Mike Mawby - 3:01:07

Joshua Nice - 2:58:48 (PB)

Grace Gibbens - 4:00:57 (Debut)

In other Marathon news our very own Hon Secretary Michael Gallyer-Barnet and his daughter Lydia took on Manchester on 19th April. Michael finished the race in 3:40:17 and says this is his best running achievement in the 21 years he has been running. A fantastic and well deserved PB showing hard work and determination really does pay off!
